Div com orders regular market checking to ensure price control
Government on Tuesday revised the meat rates and fixed at Rs 360 per kilogram without Ugri. The rates were revised after taking due consultations and suggestions from Kothdars and civil society members.

The meeting was called to to fix of prices of various essential commodities especially mutton.
The officers held threadbare discussions for decontrolling of prices of all essential commodities and unanimously the rate of mutton per kilogram without Ugri has been fixed Rs 360.
The Div Com stressed upon all the Deputy Commissioner for intensifying the market checking in their jurisdictions and Tehsildars, SHOs and officers of CA&PD were directed for conducting of regular market checkings so that the increasing prices can be controlled.
The Div Com said in the meeting that action would be initiated against those traders who would found in profiteering and hoarding.
